We've been seriously under utilising this blog. Haha.. so guess we (i mean I) shall post here. As we know, we are having our BBQ next week. Not for any occassion, but just a simple get together sessions to foster our bonds. Lol.. sounds like total crap, but hey, in a way it is.

So ppl, let's enjoy ourselves then. Details as follows.

Time: arrange with edna/kaili to buy food, should be around 4+ to 5, if come bbq, anytime after 6

The Haven Children's home is a part of the Salvation Army and it serves as a shelter for abandoned or abused children. it's not a boy's home - the children are not delinquents. they are just children whose parents, for various reasons like prison, depression or drugs, are temporarily unable to take care of them.
so come, and spread the news. it's all for charity.

Other ways to volunteer :

4L'2000! It has been quite 1month since this blog has any activities besides the invasion of mysterious personnel, PJ.

So the upcoming activity, which most likely will bring us altogether, since no one birthday in December (or we don't remember), is Christmas.

Yeah!! Hee we decided to have night cycling instead of ubin cycling! hee.. Although I am still v gian to go Ubin..

Anw shall we have our night cycling in august? Hee cos I think mid term tests will most likely fall in the month of Sept.

Suggested dates for night cycling: 19/8/05, 26/8/05 (Fridays)

We can rent bicycles from ECP.. I think it will cost around $12 to $15 for whole night rental..

As for the route, I oso dunno.. Haha I think I only noe how to cycle fr ECP to 85 market.. So can somebody plan the route?? hee..

Hey got some info from my hairstylist who was from KL.. Hee

She suggested some shopping areas like Sungei Wang. She sae dis place is something like Far East but with more things to buy.. Oh fyi, Sungei Wang is located opposite Lot 10 which means it is along Jalan Bintang..

Ok den there is a street behind Sungei Wang called Fu(4) 街.. This is the place where locals go when they wan supper... According to her, there are many stalls which 现做现卖 Dou Sha Bing!! Yummy! But she sae Dou Sha Bing is the nicest at a shop beside a restaurant or cafe called Sakura which is also located at Jalan Bintang.. Hee

Den as for hotels, she sae its better not to stay at Chinatown area because its very 复杂.. But the hotels there are relatively cheaper.. She suggested Capitol Hotel which is near or at Jalan Bintang.. Its cheap and good.. Hee.. Here is the brief description of Capitol Hotel:

Hotel Capitol is a business class hotel located in the heart of Bukit Bintang shopping and business district.The hotel is strategically located adjacent to major shopping complexes and entertainment centres namely Bukit Bintang Plaza, Sungei Wang Shopping Complex, Low Yat Plaza, BB Park and Beer Garden.

Hmm I think we better decide our KL trip soon..

I called a travel agency just now to ask about coaches to KL.. I made an assumption dat we'll be going to Sunway Lagoon and dis is the info dat I got:

The hotel will be Pyramid I think.. Its at Sunway Lagoon itself..the "lousier" one la.. It costs $178 (If I din remember wrongly) per person for 3D2N.. Reasonable?? And I think it includes the coach to and fro.. If we wan a more luxurious coach, we can add an additional $30.. Hmm.. wat else.. Oh den Sunway Lagoon is quite near to the city and according to the person from the tour agency, there will be shuttle bus to ferry us there..

So wat do u guys think?

If its too expensive and you all wana take coach, den we ask other agencies??

Another alternative will be by train but I duno how much..

Another will be wat Kai suggested dat day.. Take a bus in there den eh ???... haha I am not sure wat is this so I dunno where to check it out.. Anybody noes??

Thor Guan Seafood, BLK 164, Tampines St 12, #01-301. Opens 4pm-11pm. This place serves the best chili crab in town. It tastes spicy and it's very aromatic. Besides the chili crab, they have black pepper crab, butter crab and salted crab too! The price is also reasonable, $26 - 28 per kg.

Currently this is the place we decided on. Not too far from where we stay, so I think it's quite good a location. If someone can come up with a better place for nice crabs, we will change. Hehe..

How to add:

By the way, any one of you going to have a chalet in June?? I am making a short film and I need a chalet for one of my scenes.. Can let me know if you got lobang?? Will oni use it for maximum 4 hrs => And I dont need to use the whole chalet, just a small area big enuff for 5 ppl to sit around and talk. Pleasssee help me out kie??? Thankie!!!

Yup，if it happened to be one of those days, we can go to the city on the first day and slack first... actually the city is quite interesting de.

Was telling my brother about the trip last night and he reminded me about this very nice claypot chicken rice stall which we went the other time.

It is one of those 大排挡 at chinatown and they serve the bestest claypot chicken rice I've ever had! Plus they oso got sell those peng gang seafood like stingray, fish and a type of "seafood platter". The latter being made up of a variety of seafood like sotong, scallop, seashells etc...

The interesting thing about these bbq seafood is that each serving is wrapped in aluminium foil, which is then folded into a square shape bag. These bags of seafood are then thrown onto the bbq pit. The indication for the food being cooked and ready to serve is when the bag gets bloated up like a ball. Yup, literally. Very cute ah..haha.. it's fun just watching the bags jump on the pit as they becomes honeydew-size silver balls.

Talking about it is making me hungry liao =p Haha... Well, please respond as to when you can make it for the trip ya? And thank you Peng Wei for waking up "early early" at 11am and sacrificed 3 min of your working hours to write that email attachment =D Also, thank you for setting up this blog! =D (ok, now thank me for setting up the Tagboard =p Muahaha!)
